No one was ever sure of what Lots of Money was or where it came from, and this recording raises more questions instead of answers. It is difficult to determine from this recording where Lots of Money was headed next, or if they are still on their way. The first track, "Hot Money," is a slight departure from the sound Lots of Money was known for, but with the following track, "Dog Money," they have gone off the deep end and will probably never come back. Some people feel that you can hear the band breaking up during the song, literally coming apart at the seams. Others believe the band was striving for a much more live and improvisational sound. Whatever the case, we may never know what has become of the band Lots of Money.
This release contains a bonus track. "KGB Money" was released on floppy disc by False Media Death Fun in 2008. We have decided to compile it on this release so it was in a more accessible medium. It is reminiscent of the classic Lots of Money sound featured on their legendary debut EP, "There Ain't No Bass Guitar on this CD-R."
